The Lion's Den Comedy Car Crash is a spontaneous Open Mic Comedy night. None of the acts (Except 10 minute Headliners & groups) are booked in advance and the line-up is chosen from names drawn at random from a hat at the end of each act. We've been dubbed many times as the Biggest and Best Open Mic Night in Central London and we'd love you to come along so you can see why!

Anyone can participate on the night as long as there are places left. Registration starts at 6.30pm.

If you are bringing three or more audience members to the show and want to perform, you can register to perform in advance via facebook meassage from 6 days before the Tuesday Show.

We cap the number of acts at 18 (ish) so get there early or bring friends if you don't want to be disappointed. It doesn't get more spontaneous than this!

Think of us as a maternity unit / grinding wheel for jokes and jokers!

The night aims to be as fun, dynamic and as fresh as possible.

We aim for a supportive atmosphere. A place to learn and grow.

If you bring notes - stop writing and reading them when other people are performing and stay to the end if you can. Give them the same support you want to be given..

We take no responsibility for the quality but can certainly guarantee it will be an interesting night.

Come along and join us in supporting raw stand up comedy in the heart of London's West End.

  • All spots are 5 minutes unless they are red hot in which case extra time is allowed at our discretion.

  • If you want to be a part of the show, register your name with the door person when you enter. We start registering at 6.30pm.

  • It's free to perform and £5 for audience members.

  • We will cap the line-up at 18-ish acts to ensure everybody gets on. Please try and stay to the end (a lot of acts notice when you don't!) - All acts need your support and you never know when the next legend might get drawn out of the hat.

We reserve the right to refuse admission for any reason and throw you out if you become too disruptive.
Please respect the staff, acts and each other.
If you do not respect the staff, acts or each other you will be asked to leave.
